► Switch the battery charger off and disconnect the
mains plug before you disconnect the battery.
NOTICE

Damage to the battery pack
► Avoid deep discharge of the battery pack. Ottobock
assumes no liability for damage due to deep dis­
charge.
► Always charge the batteries in the battery pack in par­
allel.
► Charge the battery pack as soon as possible if the last
three segments of the "Battery Capacity" LED indicat­
or are flashing.
► If the outdoor vehicle is not used for extended periods
of time, charge the battery pack every 6 months.

7.4.5.1 Charging via the Control Panel

1) Turn off the control unit on the outdoor vehicle.
2) Connect the charging plug of the battery charger to the
charging/programming
vehicle control panel (see Fig. 15).
3) Connect the battery charger to the mains plug and turn
it on.

→ The charging process starts automatically, and the
battery capacity is indicated by the LCD indicator on
the control panel and on the battery charger.
4) Turn the battery charger off when the charging process
is complete.
5) Disconnect the battery charger from the mains supply.
6) Disconnect the charging plug of the battery charger
from the control panel.
7) Switch on the control unit of the outdoor vehicle.
→ The outdoor vehicle is ready for operation.
