7.7 Care

7.7.1 Safety Instructions

NOTICE
Incorrect cleaning
Risk of damage to the product, especially to the electronics
► Water must not come into direct contact with the elec­
tronics, motor or battery under any circumstances.
► Never use a water jet or high-pressure cleaning appar­
atus to clean the product.
► Use a cloth or sponge for cleaning.
► To avoid corrosion, don't use any aggressive cleaning
agents or solvents.
► Check the driving behaviour of the product after clean­
ing it.

7.7.2 Cleaning

The outdoor vehicle must be cleaned regularly, depending
on the amount of use and the degree of soiling.
Clean the control panel, armrests, battery and transport
case with a damp cloth and mild cleaning solution.
Use a damp plastic brush to clean the crawler track
drives, frame components and loading ramps.

8.1 Safety Instructions
WARNING
Improper maintenance, repairs or adjustments
Risk of falling, tipping, collision with persons, product
damage
► The product may only be serviced by authorised per­
sonnel trained by Ottobock. The functionality and oper­
ational safety of the product must be verified and ser­
vice performed 1 x per year.

8.2 Maintenance

The correct function of the product should be verified before
every use.
If you notice any defects, please contact your authorised
specialist dealer immediately in order to have them correc­
ted. Ottobock also recommends regular maintenance every
12 months by your authorised dealer.
For the components in the maintenance table below, special
attention must be paid to the following points:

Damage, deformation
Screw connections
