► When driving downhill, reduce speed according to the
steepness of the incline.
► Do not cross obstacles (steps or curbs) with a height
difference of more than 4 cm.
► Do not cross steps or curbs without reducing speed.

► Wear bright clothing or clothing with reflectors.
► Ensure that the reflectors on the outdoor vehicle are
clearly visible.

Contact with salt water

► When driving on sand, avoid contact with salt water
(e. g. seawater).

Electronic, mechanical defect or deep discharge of
battery pack
Irreparable damage to the drive motor due to pushing the
outdoor vehicle
► Switch off the control unit of the outdoor vehicle.
► Leave the outdoor vehicle with the manual wheelchair.

your specialist dealer as required.
Danger during use of public transportation, elevators,
lifting platforms

Risk of tipping, collision with persons or objects in the
vicinity
► When using public transport, elevators or lifting plat­
forms, always switch off the product's control unit.
Hazards due to defective crawler tracks
CAUTION
Defective crawler tracks
Risk of accidents/falling due to poor traction, reduced
braking force or lack of manoeuvrability
► Maintain sufficient crawler track tension. Consult the
technical data for the correct crawler track tension.
► Maintain sufficient profile depth of the crawler tracks
(min. 3 mm).
► Avoid parking outside and in direct sunlight (UV radi­
ation) since this causes the crawler tracks to age
quickly. Ottobock recommends replacing the crawler
tracks at least every 2 years regardless of wear.
