5.2.2 For Extended Disuse
Please observe the following if the product is not used for
more than 3 days:
Storage Conditions
Maintain an ambient temperature between -10 °C and
+40 °C and relative humidity between 45 and 85 %.
Store the product in a dry, enclosed room with sufficient
air circulation and protection from external influences.
Avoid unnecessary parking outdoors.
Protect the crawler tracks against ground frost, e. g. by
elevating them completely off the ground using
assembly blocks or wooden boards.
Notes on the Crawler Tracks
If the product is not moved for several days, permanent
colour changes may occur where it comes into contact
with the surface it is standing on. Therefore a suitable
underlay should be used if the product is parked for
extended periods of time.
The crawler tracks contain chemical substances that
may react with other chemical substances (e. g. clean
ing agents, acids).
Direct exposure to sunlight/UV radiation causes the
crawler tracks to age more quickly. As a result, the tread
surface hardens and corner pieces break out of the
tread.
