Typical dangerous areas include:
Narrow paths along waterways/slopes/cliffs (e. g.
quay walls, dikes, etc.)
Steep downgrades (e. g. in the mountains, facing
streets).
Unsurfaced areas (e. g. on construction sites, inter­
sections, train crossings).
Icy surfaces.
7.3.3 Switching On and Off

Defective safety functions
Risk of falling, tipping, collision with persons or nearby
objects
► Before every use, ensure that the product and its safety
functions are in safe and proper condition.
► Only use the product if all safety functions, e.g. the
automatic brakes, are functional.
INFORMATION
In dangerous situations, the product can be turned off at
any time using the on/off button. When the button is
pressed, the product brakes immediately and the electrical
functions cease. Malfunctions such as an insufficient sup­
ply of power to the brake are recognised by the software,
triggering an emergency stop or reducing the speed of the
product. A warning signal will also sound.

Pressing the [On/Off] button (see Fig. 13, item 5)
switches the control unit of the outdoor vehicle on or off.
If the control unit is not operated for some time, the out­
door vehicle switches off automatically.
If the outdoor vehicle is turned off with the [On/Off] but­
ton while driving, it brakes immediately and comes to a
standstill.
The specialist dealer can use the parameter settings to
specify the default speed level or menu of the outdoor
vehicle after it is turned on, according to the user's
requirements.
7.3.4 Selecting the Speed Levels
The outdoor vehicle has a programmable number of
speed levels (at delivery = 5 speed levels).
The speed level is increased by briefly pressing the
[Mode] button (see Fig. 13, item 6).
After reaching the maximum speed level, the next speed
level is 1.
The LCD display indicates the selected speed level in
the Driving menu:
