Preparation for Use
6.3 Adjustments
6.3.1 Prerequisites
Adjustment tasks should always be performed in the pres
ence of the user. The user should sit upright in the wheel
chair while adjustments are made, and should check the
settings several times.
The control panel mounting side (left/right) is realised
according to the customer order and may only be changed
by authorised personnel instructed by Ottobock.
The following can be adjusted by the user or attendant:
Position of the stops
Height of the armrests
Position of the armrests
Position of the control panel
All parts of the product should be cleaned thoroughly before
adjustments are made.
6.3.2 Adjusting the Stops
The position of the rear wheel stops can be adjusted. The
stops are adjusted using two quick-release clamping levers
and an Allen head screw (Allen key, size 5). Follow the
instructions below to adjust the stops:
1) Loosen the Allen head screw (see Fig. 2).
2) Loosen the two quick-release clamping levers.
→ Now the stops can be moved vertically and horizont
ally.

3) Slide the stops to the desired position (see Fig. 3).
INFORMATION: The stops should be positioned
approximately 2 cm below the knee lever wheel
lock, ensuring that the knee lever wheel lock can be
operated with no restrictions.
4) Tighten the two quick-release clamping levers.
5) Tighten the Allen head screw.
INFORMATION: If the adjustment range of the
stops is insufficient to hold the manual wheelchair
securely, the Allen head screw can be omitted dur
ing assembly (only for very wide manual wheel
chairs!).
→ Adjusting the stop position is complete.
INFORMATION: The stops on the left and right side
must be locked at the same height.
