morcellator or shaver is not approved
for use in the United

Alternative A - indirect suction
(suction for CALCUSON)
When
there are solid
oomponents in
the suctioned
liquid
such
as
stone
concretions (urology), there
is
a
risk of perfo rating
the
pump head
tubing.
In
this
case,
it
is recommended to connect a
suction
bottle (see accessories) between the
suction
instrument
and the
ENDOMAT®
SELECT (Fig.
22).
Use disposable turbing set 031647-10 for indirect
suction.

CAUTION:
When there are
solid
components in
the suctioned
liquid, the
pump head tubing can be

be
contamina.ted.
NOTE:
V\'1Jen the suction bottle
is
filled with
water, the air volume
of the suction
bottle
is
reduced.

advantage of this is that the

volume).

that

fluid

suctioned
