Z.weckbestimmung
Der ENDOMAT® SELECT ist eine Rollenpumpe, die
entweder alsSpOI· oder als Saugpumpe fur den
Einsatz bei diagnostischen und therapeutischen
Eingriffen bestimmt !st Die A,pp!ikat!on erfo!gt Ober
anwendungsspezifische Saug-/SpOli nstrumente.
Die Verwendung des Gerats anders als oben
bestimmt ist aus SicherheitsgrOnden nicht zulassig.
Der ENDOMAT' " SELECT dart nur mit
Schlauchkassetten bzw. Schlauchsets und
ZubeMrteilen betrieben werden, die von
KARL STORZ tor das Gerat als geeignet bezeichnet
werden.

des Gerats Dbemommen werden.
lnsbesondere folgende schwerwiegende Fehler
konnen auftreten:
• Unzure.ichender Halt auf den
Schlauchkonnektoren bedeutet Sterilitatsverlust
und kann Beschadigung des Gerats durch
eingedrungene FIOssigkeit zur Falge haben.
• FrOhzeitiger Bruch des Pumpenschlauch-
segments soVl~e dadurch bedingler Sterilitats-
verlust und Beschadigung des Gerats durch
eingedrungene FIOssigkeit.
• Anzeige einer falschen lst-Forderrate durch
A.bweichungen im Schlauchdurchmesser.

Safety instructions
The ENDOMAT® SELECT is a roller pump which is
intended for use either as an irrigation or suction
pump in diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
The Bpplication must be carried out using
appropriate suction/irrigation instruments.
Use of tho device in fields other than those
indicated above is not allowed for safety reasons.
The ENDOMA.T® SELECT may only be operated
with tubing cartridges or tubing sets and
accessories which have been designated as
suitable for the device by KARL STORZ.

WARNING: No respon. s ibility for .. the safe
. . operation of the device can be accepted
if any tubing system other than those
specified are used
The following serious defects may arise in particular:
• Inadequate grip on the tube connectors means a
loss of sterility and may lead to the device being
damaged by ingress of liquid .
• Premature breakage of the pump tube segment
and consequer,t loss of sterility and damage to
the device caused by ingress of liquid.
• Display of an incorrect actual irrigation rate due
to devlations in tube diameter.
