Auspacken des Gerätes
Entnehmen Sie das AUTOCON ® II 400 und das
Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung.
Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit
und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen.
Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation
geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an
den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich,
bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf, sie
kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich
sein.

Warnung: Das HF-Chirurgiegerät
AUTOCON ® II 400 sowie angeschlossenes
Zubehör darf in medizinisch genutzten Räumen
nur benutzt werden, wenn diese nach den natio-
nal gültigen Vorschriften installiert sind.
Es ist nicht für den Betrieb in explosionsgefähr-
deten Bereichen bestimmt. Bei Verwendung von
explosiven Narkosegasen darf das Gerät nicht in
der dargestellten Gefahrenzone betrieben wer-
den.

Warnung: HF-Chirurgiegeräte erzeugen bestim-
mungsgemäß hochfrequente elektromagnetische
Felder, welche empfindliche elektronische
Geräte stören könnten. Um Störungen zu vermei-
den, sollten HF-Chirurgiegeräte und insbesonde-
re deren Kabel nicht zu nahe an störempfindli-
chen Geräten installiert werden.

Unpacking the equipment

Carefully remove the AUTOCON ® II 400 and its
accessories from their packaging.
Check for missing items and evidence of ship-
ping damage.
File any complaints with the manufacturer or
supplier immediately. If possible, retain the origi-
nal packing materials for later use; these can
come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Installing and connecting up
the unit
Warning: The AUTOCON ® II 400 HF surgery unit
including the accessories connected may be
used only in medical facilities having electrical
installations conforming to the applicable natio-
nal, state, and local electrical codes.
This unit is not intended for use in hazardous
zones. Do not operate the unit within the demar-
cated hazard zone while explosive anesthetic
gases are in use.
Place the unit on a level surface.
Warning: HF surgery equipment generates
radiofrequency and electromagnetic fields that
can interfere with the operation of sensitive
electronic equipment. HF surgical equipment,
and particularly its cabling, should thus never be
installed close to any equipment sensitive to
electromagnetic interference.

Extraiga con precaución del embalaje el AUTO-
CON ® II 400 y los accesorios.
Controle la integridad del suministro y la presen-
cia de eventuales desperfectos.
Si el suministro ofrece motivos para la reclama-
ción, diríjase por favor al fabricante o al suminis-
trador. Es recomendable guardar el embalaje
original para volver a utilizarlo en un posible
transporte posterior del equipo.

Instalación y conexión del
aparato
Nota: El aparato quirúrgico de AF AUTOCON
400, así como los accesorios conectados, sólo
podrán usarse en espacios médicos cuyas ins-
talaciones cumplan las normas nacionales de
seguridad que estén vigentes.
El mismo no está previsto para ser utilizado en
zonas expuestas a posibles explosiones. Si se
usan gases anestésicos explosivos, el equipo no
deberá emplearse en las zonas señaladas como
peligrosas.
Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie plana.
Nota: Los aparatos quirúrgicos de alta frecuen-
cia generan campos electromagnéticos de alta
frecuencia, los cuales pueden interferir en otros
aparatos electrónicos. Para evitar interferencias,
los aparatos quirúrgicos de alta frecuencia, y
especialmente sus cables, no deberían instalar-
se en las cercanías de aparatos sensibles a las
interferencias.
