Operator Functions
Meaning
No character in the read codes is
suppressed.
In the string of the read code only the
substring starting at "StartPos" for the
number of characters specified by "Length" is
output.
Example:
read code = 1PABCDEF, StartPos = 3,
Length = 2
"AB" is output.
"Filter-ID" consists of one or more IDs
separated by a "separator". For each ID
contained in "Filter-ID", an attempt is made to
form a substring from the read code
according to the following rules:
The substring start is identified by the ID.
If several sequences are identified by the
ID, only the first one is used.
The ID can be at the beginning of the
read code or immediately following a
separator.
The substring extends as far as the next
separator or to the end of the code if
there are no separators.
The sequences found are then put together in
the order in which the IDs occur in "Filter-ID".
They are separated by the same separator as
the corresponding IDs in "Filter-ID". If one or
more sequences cannot be formed, the string
set with "Result" > "Messages">"Filter-Msg"
is displayed.
Example:
read code = A+1P01234+1R01235-1Q01236,
separators = +-/_, FILTER-ID = 1P_1Q/1R
output: 01234_01236/01235.
