3. In the left Available Devices pane, click the LTQ XL MS icon (shown in
LTQ Velos MS icon to open the New Method page for the device.

4. Under Select ETD Experiment Type, click Nth Order Double Play (ETD) to open this
dialog box (Figure 31).
The Initialize Method with Additional ETD Scan Event check box is selected as the
default setting.
