Set the print area.
Set the print area for the printing test. For a printing test, set the print area with a "WIDTH" of 90 mm (3.5 in.) or
more and a "LENGTH" of 70 mm (2.8 in.) or more. An error will occur and printing tests cannot be performed if the
area is smaller than this.
Procedure
1.
Press [▲], [▼], [▶] or[◀] when the following screen appears.
SCAN:
0.0mm
FEED:
0.0mm
The flat table and the print heads move so that the pointer points at the previously set printing base posi-
tion.
2.
Press [▲], [▼], [▶] or [◀] to move the pointer until it points to a position in the right foreground of the print area.
3.
Press [ENTER].
The print heads return to the home position and the following screen is displayed.
WIDTH: XXX.Xmm
LENGTH:XXX.Xmm

• The previously set values are displayed for "WIDTH" and "LENGTH."
• When the object to be printed on comes into contact with the head gap sensor, the setup is canceled and the screen shown

Press [▲], [▼], [▶] or [◀] to set the "WIDTH" to 90 mm (3.5 in.) or more and the "LENGTH" to 70 mm (2.8 in.) or
more.
The pointer moves until it points to a position in the inner left of the print area.
