11.6 Write Protect Sensor/index Detector Assembly

Removal and Installation (See Fig. 11.6)
Removethe froni plate as described in 11.2.
Remove the write protect sensor mounting g
screw and index detector mounting screw
respectively.
Removethe write protect sensor/index
detector assembly.
Reverse the above procedure to reinstall.
When reinstalling the write protect sensor,
exercise care so that the leads and write
protect sensorwill not project from the
bottom andside of the base.
After index detectorinstallation, adjust the
index timing as described in 9.7.

Removethe printed circuit board as described
in 1.4.
Removethe front plate as described in 11.2.
Removethe shield plate mounting screw and
take the shield plate off.
Removethe write protect sensor as described
in 11.6. It is not necessary to remove the
index detector.
Removethe four cartridge guide mounting
screws and take out the cartridge guide
assembly.
After reinstallation, adjust the collet assembly
asin 11.4 step (6) and adjust the index timing
asin 9.7.
When removingor reinstalling, be careful not
to damagethe carriage arm withthelifter.
