6.2 Sequence control when switching the motor on and off
Overview
The sequence control defines the rules for switching the motor on and off.

After switching the supply voltage on, the inverter normally goes into the "ready to start"
state. In this state, the inverter waits for the command to switch on the motor.
The inverter switches on the motor with the ON command. The inverter changes to the
"Operation" state.
After the OFF1 command, the inverter brakes the motor down to standstill. The inverter
switches off the motor once standstill has been reached. The inverter is again "ready to
start".
Requirement
Functions
In order to be able to respond to external commands, you must set the command interface
so that it fits your specific application.
Tools
To change the function settings, you can use an operator panel or a PC tool, for example.
