1. Cylinder head gasket

3. Any point of the oil system outside the

Inadequate oil viscosity
Damaged piston rings or scratched liner

REMEDY
Fill oil sump up to the specified level
Recalibrate or change, as appropriate, the
pressure gauge
Change filters
Change spring or piston, as the case may be
Change overpressure valve
Change oil pump
Locate and repair leak
Change regulating valve
Check thermostat
Use oil to specification
Recalibrate or change the pressure gauge
Change safety valve
Change thermostat
Check power signal
Clean cooler
Check regulating valve
Refill oil sump
