How do I start this motor
To start the Kohler SH Series engine:
1. Ensure the fuel shut-off valve is in the ON position (if equipped).
2. Turn the engine on/off switch to the ON position (if equipped).
3. For a cold engine:
- Set the throttle control midway between SLOW and FAST.
- Move the choke control to the ON position.
4. For a warm engine:
- Set the throttle control midway between SLOW and FAST.
- Keep the choke OFF, as a warm engine usually does not need it.
5. Pull the starter cord lightly; the SH Series is designed to start easily with one pull.
If the engine does not keep running after starting, let it come to a complete stop before attempting to restart.
