In the case of Execution Mode = Gap
The procedure described below is for area setting and other inspection conditions when Execution Mode is set
to "Gap".
Setting an Inspection Area
You cannot set a Mask Area in Connector checker.
1.
Select "Area Setting" in "Connector (Gra. Edg.)" setting window.
2.
Select "Area (Set)".
"Area Setting" window is displayed. In Gap mode, two sets of areas (Area 0, Area 1) must be set.
The orange area displayed in the window when opening it is Area 0.
3.
Move the Area 0 to inspecting area by operating
the ENTER key. And then, press the ENTER key to
fix the position.
4.
Move the start point of Area 0 and fix it. Then,
move the end point and fix it.
In the lower left on the screen, the coordinates of the
start point and the end point of Area 0, and size and
the number of Gray Edge cells are displayed. Use
them to make setting. (See the right table)
5.
Set the size (W) of Gray Edge cells which detect
edges in width measuring area.
The widths in X and Y directions of a cell are defined
as the figures shown on the right.
6.
Tilt the ENTER key left/right to specify the number
of cells, and press the ENTER key to fix it.
7.
Tilt the ENTER key up/down to select Area 1.
Follow the same procedure of Area 0.
Cell size and the number of cells are shared by Area 0 and 1. Changing the values during Area 1 setting
changes the value of Area 0. (You cannot set different values.)
Setting Edge Conditions
Specify the condition of detecting edges and scanning.
1.
Select "Inspection Condition".
2.
