8.4.2 RS commands for modem

With an existing connection to the TresCon UNO, the following com-
mands can be used in addition to the normal RS commands:
With this command, you can allocate a designation to the TresCon.
This designation is automatically sent along with a call or with call-
backs. It enables to recognize from each other different TresCon inst-
ruments that transmit to an address.
Syntax:
msidntDesignation <CR>
This command calls up the instrument designation.
Syntax:
mgidnt <CR>
This command triggers the transmission of data.
Syntax:
mgprot Type of terminal,Type of analyzer
module <CR>
"Type..." is the type of the record sent for each TresCon component.
Enter the record type according to the syntax as a number for each
component. Take the possible numbers and the corresponding record
type from the following table:

Note
You can select several record types for one component at the same
time if you add up the corresponding type numbers. Thus, you can
combine different records and configure the output according to current
requirements.
