5.6.3 Initializing the modem

To initialize the modem, the modem parameters must agree with the
conditions of the hardware.
Note
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for the following steps:
 The modem is ready-to-operate.
 The modem is connected to the RS232 interface.

Call up the General Parameters menu: Simultaneously press
the keys, 4 and 2.
Select the Modem menu item with 68 and confirm with
