What is the BJ Status Monitor?

The BJ Status Monitor monitors the performance of the printer from the computer.
The BJ Status Monitor checks the progress of the print
job, monitors the level in ink in the ink tanks, informs you
immediately after an error occurs and automatically
presents solutions for the problem.
When an error occurs ...
1 Check the message displayed on the Printer Status
tab.
2 Click the Guide tab to display a message that
describes a solution for the problem. Clicking the Next
button displays the next solution.
• The BJ Status Monitor operates only in an
Memo
environment that supports bi-directional
communication between the printer and
computer. If the BJ Status Monitor does not
display when an error occurs, see "Chapter 6
Troubleshooting".
• After you solve the problem and
complete printing, or cancel the print job,
the BJ Status Monitor closes
automatically.
