Aligning the print head (cont.)
5 Read the message and click the Yes button.
6 Visually check the patterns, note the numbers where
the pattern appears to have less vertical white
streaking, then enter these numbers for the Horizontal
Alignment and Bi-directional Alignment settings or
use the up or down arrows on the spinboxes to
change the displayed number.
• Horizontal Alignment
Enter the numbers (-3~+7) where the pattern
appears to have less vertical white streaking for
letters A~E.
• Bi-directional Alignment
Enter the number (-5~+5) where the pattern
appears to have less vertical white streaking for
letter F.
If you are not sure about how to enter the
Memo
number, follow these rules:
• For A (Black), B (Cyan) and C (Magenta),
enter a higher number.
• For D (Photo Cyan), enter the number you
entered for A (Black).
• For E (Photo Magenta), enter the number
you entered for B (Cyan).
• For F (Bi-directional), enter a lower number.
7 Make sure the numbers are correct and click the OK
button.
8 Read the message and click the OK button.
• This completes print head alignment.
