Did you fan the sheets before loading?
Before loading paper in the sheet feeder, always fan the
sheets to remove static cling and align the edges
perfectly by tapping them on a flat surface.

Too many sheets loaded in the sheet feeder?
Make sure that the top of the stack does not exceed the
load limit mark embossed on the sheet feeder.
If the paper still does not feed correctly, load fewer at one
time.

Is the paper wrinkled, warped, or deformed in
any way?
To avoid paper jams, and double-feeds, never load paper
that is wrinkled, warped, or deformed in any way.
