Printer not recognised by the system

Is the printer switched on?
ON
Make sure that the POWER/ERROR lamp is lit green. If
the lamp is blinking green, the printer is warming up. Wait
for the lamp to stop blinking.

Are the computer and printer securely
connected?
A faulty cable connection at the printer or computer could
cause the system to not recognise the printer. Make sure
that the cable connections between the printer and
computer are tight.
