Basic printer settings (cont.)
Prepared Print Modes
Refer to the table below for a list of the prepared print
modes. When you select a Print Mode icon, the
appropriate settings are selected automatically for the
Media Type and Print Quality.
Icon
Standard settings for printing on plain pa-
per. Recommended for documents that
contain mostly text.
Settings recommended for printing photo-
graphs, especially images that contain
many gradations of colour.
Settings recommended for printing docu-
ments that contain text mixed with photo-
graphs, illustrations, graphs, etc. The
printer driver detects colour photographs
and graphics and automatically selects the
appropriate settings for the print job.
Settings recommended for printing images
captured with a digital camera. The Photo
Optimizer PRO is enabled to achieve auto-
matically the best colour correction.
Settings that give priority to speed over
quality. Recommended for printing draft
copies.
Application
• When you select a Print Mode icon, you
