Envelopes do not feed

Too many envelopes loaded at one time?
You can load up to 10 envelopes in the sheet feeder at a
time.
If the envelopes still do not feed correctly, load fewer at
one time.

Are the envelopes completely flat?
All the air must be expelled from the envelopes before
they are loaded in the sheet feeder. If the envelopes are
curled, bend them in the direction opposite the curl until
they are flat.
Align the stack of envelopes with all the flaps pointing in
the same direction. Make sure none of the flaps overlaps
another envelope. Press a pen or similar instrument
along the edges of the envelopes to sharpen the
creases.
