Selecting a print mode
Follow this procedure to select a print mode.
1 On the Main tab, click an icon in the Choose Print
Mode box that best describes the document that you
want to print.
2 The Media Type setting changes automatically for
selected print mode.
• You can change the Media Type setting to match the
type of media loading in the printer.
3 Make sure that the Page Size and Orientation settings
are the same as the settings selected in the software
application.
• If these settings are different, you can change these
settings on the Page Layout tab.
• After you select a print mode icon, if you

change a setting (like Media Type for
example) a "User modified" notation will
appear under the print mode description.
