POWER/ERROR lamp blinks orange (cont.)
7 orange flashes: Printhead is damaged or
worn
Make sure that you are using the Printhead designed
for the S800. Press the POWER button to switch the
printer off and press the POWER button again. If this
procedure does not cancel the error, the Printhead is
worn out or damaged. Call for service.
8 orange flashes: Waste ink tank is full
The built-in waste ink tank is almost full.
Press the RESUME button to cancel the error so you
can continue printing. When the waste ink tank
becomes full, further printer operation will not be
possible. Call for service and request replacement of
the waste ink tank.
The waste ink tank holds waste ink that has

been used during print head cleaning and
deep print head cleaning.
When the lamp starts blinking green and orange
alternately, switch the printer off and unplug the
printer from the power outlet. Wait a few minutes then
connect the power cord again, switch the printer on
and restart the print job.
If the error occurs again, call for service.
When the lamp blinks green, the printer is warming up
or is receiving print data from the computer. This is
not an error.
