Opening the printer driver

There are two ways to open the printer driver.
You can open the printer driver to change settings before
each print job, or you can open the printer directly from
the Windows desktop to perform maintenance.

Opening the printer driver from a software
application
Open the printer driver from the software application
where you created to the file so you can perform
special settings for the print job before you start it.
After you execute the print job, the settings you
selected are cancelled and the default printer driver
settings are restored.
Opening the printer driver directly
Open the print driver directly from the desktop to
perform routine maintenance tasks, or perform
system settings for the printer (port selection,
spooling, etc.)
• After you open the printer driver from a
Memo
software application, if you see some printer
driver options are greyed out and
unavailable (Page Size, Orientation, etc.)
then open the printer driver directly.
