Paper jams during manual feed
1 Slowly pull the jammed paper out of the paper output
tray or manual feed slot, whichever is easier.
• If the paper tears when you remove it, press
Memo
the POWER button to switch the printer off
and open the front cover. If you see paper
scraps inside the printer, remove them.
• If you had to switch the printer off to remove
the paper, the stream of data from the printer
for the print job has been lost, and you will
have to re-start the print job.
• Printing high density images on small size
plain paper (A5, etc.) and smaller will cause
excessive curl in the printed sheets.
2 Insert another sheet in the manual feed slot, and
press the RESUME button.
