Connector Description

5.1

Power Supply

You can power the conga-PA5 SBC with a 12V, 5.5x2.5mm laptop type DC power supply (on connector X21) or with a 2 pin power supply (on
connector X22).
Note
The supplied voltages must be within a tolerance of ± 10%. The conga-PA5 may not function if you exceed this tolerance limit.
5.1.1

DC Power Jack (Rear I/O)

The conga-PA5 SBC can be powered from a laptop type power supply connected to the DC power jack on the rear I/O. The power input is
protected to a short transient over-voltage and ESD.

Note
The conga-PA5 industrial variants do not have DC power jack (X21) by default. They are equipped with internal power connector (X22) only.
conga-PA5 design offers several options for DC power connector (e.g. DC jack with locking or industrial grade DC jack).
Caution
The absolute maximum rating of the input voltage is 13.2 volts. Do not exceed this rating or expose the conga-PA5 to the absolute maximum
voltage for a prolonged time. The system may not function, may be damaged or may have reliability issues if you do not observe this warning
information.
