7 Maintenance
Note
For motors with holding brake, it is not possible to manually move the Y-axis (traverse)
and the slide of the Y-axis.
The product must be connected and ready for operation.
• Move the Y-axis (traverse) and slide of the Y-axis in manual override.
Observe the documentation (è description EXCM-... "Commissioning").
Greasing the guide rail
1. Thinly lubricate the guide rails of both axes (è Fig. 7.1) with grease.
2. Move both axes repeatedly over the entire stroke.
Greasing the bearing guides
1. Grease the marked bearing guides (è Fig. 7.1) on both sides at all lubrication holes.
2. Move the slide the complete travel distance during greasing in order to distribute the grease evenly
inside.
