Introduction
Solve banding at swath boundary on your print. Banding that shows at swath boundary as light
lines, dark lines, or gloss differences. Follow the procedure below. You can stop at any time in the
procedure when the problem is solved.

Procedure
1. Perform media calibration.
2. Make sure that the [Automatic advance correction] setting in the RIP is enabled.

3. Change the [Advance correction] setting in the RIP. Decrease, smaller step, to minimize light
lines. Increase, bigger step, to minimize dark lines.
4. When you are printing in [High quality] print mode, tune the [Print strategy] setting.

5. Depending on the media type, it can help to lower the [Printer platen temperature] in the RIP.
