Adhesion

Introduction
Solve problems with adhesion, especially for self-adhesive vinyl applications in [High quality]
print mode. When the ink does not settle on the media sufficiently, you can have issues with
adhesion. Follow the procedure below. You can stop at any time in the procedure when the
problem is solved.
Procedure
1. Increase the [Extended carriage travel], when you are printing a small image width. Tune step by
step until you find the best swath duration.
2. Increase the [Printer platen temperature]. Tune with steps of 2 degrees Celsius, and with every
step check if the print quality is still sufficient. At high temperature the gloss will become less.
3. Reduce your ink limits in the media profile.

4. Change the print mode you are using to a higher quality print mode.
