Changes in this manual
Important changes with respect to the Manual, 01/2013 Edition
New hardware
New CU240D-2 PN-F FO Control Units with
fieldbus via fiber-optic cable
New Firmware Functions for V4.7
Reducing the pulse frequency and increasing the
current limit in the case of high-inertia starting.
Supporting the identification & maintenance data
(I&M1 ... 4)
Supporting the encoderless 1FK7 synchronous
motors
Moment of inertia estimator for moment precontrol
when operated using encoderless 1FK7
synchronous motors
An overview of all the new and changed functions in the V4.7 firmware can be found in
Section New and extended functions (Page 265).
Revised descriptions
STO safety function
Presettings for the inputs/outputs using macros
Selection criteria for the motor control mode
Corrections
The tolerance of the 24 V power supply of the
inverter is not ±15 %, but rather -15 % / +20 %.
The current carrying capacity of connector X01 is
not 7 A, but rather 8 A.
When using an analog input as extended digital
input, for a low signal, the analog input must be
connected to ground (1M). The analog input must
be connected to +10 V and 1M using a changeover
contact. An NO contact is not sufficient.
