Control inputs enable or H/C-change-over
Connecting cable (refer to top note on Page 77)
Input H/C change-over (instead of inlet sensor Fig. 6-49, Pos 2)
Pos. 3:
Presence input (absent = contact closed)
Pos. 4:
Input enabling (active = contact open)
Pos. 5:
Connect the control inputs in accordance with the wiring diagram.
When connecting a heating/cooling change-over contact set parameter 8:
SEL0 = 24 and SEL1 = 2 (without sensor).
for connecting enabling contact set parameter 6: SEL0 = 20 and
SEL1 = Auto (enabled = contact open)
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE!
Extra-low voltage terminal block (sensor and control input) is not galvanically
separated from the mains supply voltage. Mains potential on terminal and ter-
minal block.
NOTICE!
If more than two wires must be connected to terminal 12, a supporting terminal
must be provided by others on site. The supporting terminal must enable con-
nection of more than two wires.
Besides fan control, units with a cooling function must also be equipped with
valve control.
Units with an installed CET and extract-air sensor, must have continuous fan
operation. Only one valve control type is allowed.
Functions
Input heating/cooling
The controller uses this input via an external contact to switch over between heat-
ing or cooling mode. With open contact the controller is in heating mode, if the
contact is closed - in cooling mode.
Presence input
This input is used to select different setpoints. If an external contact is open, the
current setpoint is active. If the contact is closed, the setpoint value is increased
or decreased by 2K.
Input enabling
This input is used to enable the controller. For this purpose an external contact
must be open. If enabling was not initiated (contact closed), then only the room
frost protection function is active in order to open the heating valve and activate
fan at temperatures below 4°C.
Cable lenghts and cable termination of the sensors and control inputs
The connecting lines on terminal 10-15 must not be larger than 50m. To en-
sure a save function all cable terminals for control input, as shown as in Fig. 6-
53, must be provided with a 330 nF condenser on-site.
