7.13.1 Checking condensate pump with wall and ceiling units

Condensate forms as a result of unit operation in cooling mode, the same applies
to non-insulated pipes.
• Check that,
that the coil drip tray is properly secured and stable.
–
water filter at drip tray drain connection is clean.

• Unless already done, apply the supply voltage.
• Check operation of condensate pump:
Carefully fill the coil drip tray (Fig. 7-14, Pos. 2) with some water to activate
–
the pump.
After a short period, when water is drained, the pump must switch off again.
–
At this point increase the water supply to activate the alarm sensor (fan
–
must switch off and cooling valve close)
Check all hydraulic connections during this test phase.
