4.5.2 Installation on ceiling
34
The unit can be secured vertically or suspended on the wall.
With suspended units without feet at least four mounting elements are needed
(on both side on top and bottom)
With upright units with feet two mounting elements are sufficient (on both top
sides)
Wall installation:
Keyholes are provided at the side of the rear panel for securing the units (2 for
each side, refer to Fig. 4-4). Depending on fixing type and surface features you
will need suitable fixing material.
Transfer the drilling measurements to the wall as shown in Fig. 4-4 and Tab. 4-
2.
Insert screws/bolts.
Hang up the Flex-Geko into the keyholes.
Use a spirit level for precise vertical and horizontal alignment of the Flex-Geko
and tighten the screws. (Pay attention to the pitch of cooling units!)
Stand-alone:
To secure the unit two mounting slots are provided on each of the basic unit sides
or unit feet or mixed-air box (Fig. 4-4).
Transfer four drilling measurements on the floor as shown in Fig. 4-4 and
Tab. 4-2.
Suitable screws for the intended mounting type are required.
Use a spirit level for precise vertical and horizontal alignment of the Flex-Geko
according to the mounting holes and tighten the screws. (Pay attention to the
pitch of cooling units!)
NOTICE!
The Flex-Geko can be mounted directly under the ceiling or can be suspended
using appropriate tools.
In order to ensure complete removal of condensate from condensate trays in
cooling units according hygiene regulations (VDI 6022, SWKI VA 104-01), the
units must have a 5 mm pitch mounted towards connection side of condensate
drainage and 0-2 mm towards unit air intake side (refer to Fig. 4-5).
