Regardless of the cross section and the number of participants, the maximum line
length including branch feeders must not exceed 600 m. The branch feeder must
not exceed 25 m. The total length of all branch feeders may not exceed a maxi-
mum 150 m.
RECOMMENDATION
Bridges must be used in the network if there are more than 110 users. To
extend the line length, special jumpers are necessary to decouple running
times of telegrams between the network participants.
The cross-section of the bus cable must be changed depending on the
MATRIX.net cable length!

• Install the data transfer cable (MATRIX.Net) on one side in the DencoHappel
air treatment unit using shielding clips to ensure the best possible electrical
contact.
• Apply the shielding with the grounding clamps to a large ground area!
• In systems with a large network, or if large-scale EMC impairment is likely, the
shielding should be applied on both sides. Ensure beforehand that there are
no differences in potential.
