42
You have the following possibilities to balance the slope with cooling units:
- Wall installation: Secure the spacer ring (refer to Fig. 4-14, Pos. 3) between
basic unit (refer to Fig. 4-14, Pos. 4) and unit casing (refer to
Fig. 4-14, Pos. 2).
- Ceiling installation: Use the upper drill hole (refer to Fig. 4-14, Pos. 5) to
secure the unit casing on the medium connection side and
the lower drill hole on the electrical connection side. (refer to
Fig. 4-14, Pos. 6).
CAUTION!
DANGER OF SHARP EDGES!
Be aware of sharp edges on casing and sheet metal when removing sheet ele-
ments.
Use protective gloves during work and deburr sharp edges using a suitable tool!
NOTICE!
In cooling units with casing and fixed discharge grille the latter is mounted in
such a way that the grille pitch is directed to wall (in wall units) or to ceiling (in
ceiling units).
Units with only heating function the grille pitch is always directed to room.
Connecting segments
Pos. 1:
In cooling units for ceiling installation with
free condensate drain a pre-punched clear-
ance on the unit casing medium connection
side has to be removed for on site conden-
sate line by others. For this purpose sepa-
rate the connecting segments (refer to
Fig. 4-15, Pos. 1) using an appropriate tool
and remove the loose triangle sheet using
an appropriate tool.
