Clicking the leftmost Record button will start a recording which may be manually
stopped by clicking the green Recording button.
If one or more alarms are configured to trigger recording and alarm mode is selected,
the recorder will continuously store the incoming transport stream in a ring buffer.
When an alarm configured for trigging is raised, the recorder will start emptying the
ring buffer and continue recording until the selected file size is reached. In the
resulting recording the error event will be located in the middle of the recording.
To activate the alarm triggered recording mode click the Alarm mode activate
button. When in alarm triggered mode the Record button will allow the user to
override the alarm trigger and make a recording based on data in the ring buffer. This
enables the user to create a recording of a visually detected error.
To exit the alarm triggered recording mode click the green Alarm mode active
button.
