The probe hardware can be found from the debug file created when clicking the
Debug data link in the Data view. By viewing line 25 the hardware version is
determined:

Base address:0x8400
Base address: 0x8400 means that the hardware version is 1 or 2, and the software
image file named gbprobe_hw1-2... should be used. If the probe software is older
than 4.0 the hardware version is always 1 or 2.
Base address: 0x5000 means that the hardware version is 3 and the software image
file named gbprobe_hw3... should be used.
Step 2: Export and save the probe configuration
Software upgrade should not alter the probe configuration, however for safety is is a
good idea to export the probe configuration (from the Data view) and save it to a file.
Step 3: Delete an existing probe stream recording
If a stream recording is stored on the probe, this may prevent software upgrade, as it
may take up too much space for software image upload to be possible. Therefore
delete the recording prior to software upload - this is done in the RDP view.
