IMPORTANT!
The command must be sent as a string, not as separate characters.
We recommend using RealTerm as a commnuications program (available for free download):
it has extended functionality and improved 'send' options.
'Hyper Terminal' may be used, by sending a file with a command. However, Hyper Terminal
may experience problems if the string includes more than two consecutive identical numbers
(111, for example).
Example 1: $AE33:D1[CR] => 9 bytes: output will be one line of data.
Example 2: $AE33:D120[CR] => 11 bytes; Output will be 120 lines of data.
Example 3: $AE33:T20120110120000[CR] will synchronize the time on the Aethalometer to
10 Jan 2012, 12 noon. If the instrument was either measuring; or performing the stability,
clean air or auto clean air tests; the command stops the instrument and returns it to the
operating state before change. In all the other cases it only changes the time.
