Aethalometer
Model AE33
11.1. NETWORK CONNECTION
Aethalometer supports Ethernet connections via TCP/IP protocol. This enables transferring
data managing the settings and checking the status of the instrument remotely.
To enable network connectivity the 'NetworkEnabled' checkbox must be selected and
Ethernet cable with access must be plugged in the back of the Aethalometer. The Instrument
IP field has to have a valid IP address to be able to access the instrument. If we want the
Aethalometer to connect to AethNET server we need to input the server IP in the Data center
IP and Port field on the "Advanced" tab. If the connection is established the 'isConnected' (both
instrument and AethNET server need to be in the same subnet) box is checked. We can also
use the standalone application as AEccessor to remotely connect to the Aethalometer and view
and manage the instrument in real time.
If the 'Online' box is checked, the instrument has access to the internet.
