11.2.3 Basic settings

"Basic settings" is a list of instrument operational parameters that may be imported from an
external USB memory drive. This can ensure standardized operation. The settings are
imported from the file AE_SETUP.XML that is saved in the root directory of the external drive.
The file format is the same as the instrument setup file.
Using this action it is possible to import all setting except Serial Number, Flow Sensor
calibration parameters, Tape Sensor calibration parameters, and External device settings.
During the import process the setting are first validated: if the validation is successful, the
settings from the file are written to the instrument and saved when the user starts
measurement operations. 'Basic setting' button can be accessed from "Data" – "Export" screen.
