24. The leakage should be less than 10%. In case that the leakage is lower than 10%; check
that all tubing is firmly connected and that the chamber is well positioned. If the chamber is
not well positioned, lubricate the optical chamber sliders (see chapter 9.12) and repeat the
test. If the leakage remains higher than 10%,

9.5 Stability test

The Stability Test determines the performance of the light source and detector, without air
flow through the system.
To perform this test, select Operation/General/Stability Test. The Stability Test duration is 20
minutes, during which a Status Code of 1024 will be shown. At the end of the test, a report is
generated and saved to the CF card.
1. If the measurements are running, press 'Stop'.
2. Go to the "Operation" / "General" screen, and press the "Stability Test" button in order to
start the test.
3. A new screen appears listing all relevant information about the test settings (test duration,
flow and timebase).
