 OPERATION SCREEN with four sub-tabs: GENERAL; ADVANCED; LOG; and MANUAL.
The GENERAL screen shows the settings:
o Timebase: 1 or 60seconds,
o Flow: 2, 3, 4 or 5 LPM,
o flow-reporting standard: These are the pressure and temperature which the
instrument uses to report flow, based on the mass flow measured by the flow
sensors. A variety of reporting standards are offered: choose the one used by
your organization. Alternately, data may be calculated and reported at ambient
conditions of T and P. These may either be input manually; or provided by the
optional Meteorological Sensor, connected to one of the COM ports (see chapter
10.1 External devices).
o maximum attenuation which triggers a Tape Advance – TA_ATNmax or,
o the time interval (in hours) at which the Tape Advances will occur – TA_ INT or,
o a single fixed time at which a Tape Advance will occur – TA_ Time.
o Time & Date: adjusts current local time.
Time zone and DST: Set to match your locality. If enabled, the 'DST' setting will
o
automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time.
changing constantly causing discrepancy between instrument and official
database. If not sure about the correct operation it is better to record the data
with DST disabled; it is always possible to switch timestamp when post-
processing the data.
