12. SOFTWARE UPGRADE
1. Use only a high quality USB memory drive. Copy the following files to the root directory:
- NK.bin - application software (SW version number not shown)
- ae33coNNN.hex, ae33deNNN.hex, ae33leNNN.hex - three firmware files for version NNN.
2. Switch on the AE33: from the "Operation/General" screen, stop the measurements.
3. Insert the USB drive into the front panel. Wait 10 seconds.
4. On the "Operation/Advanced" screen, press the "Update" button.
5. Choose "Software" upgrade.
6. Wait until the Aethalometer finishes the upgrade.
7. Remove the USB drive.
8. Re-start the Aethalometer measurements, then stop again.
9. Insert the USB drive into the front panel. Wait 10 seconds.
10. On the "Operation/Advanced" screen, press the "Update" button.
11. Choose "Firmware" upgrade.
12. Wait until the Aethalometer finishes the upgrade. This can take a few minutes.
13. Remove the USB drive.
14. Re-start the Aethalometer measurements, then stop again.
15. Check the "Operation/Advanced" screen to verify the displayed values of the software and
firmware versions.
