11.2. DATA MANAGEMENT

Aethalometer Data management consists of two systems: the database and file system (same
as all former SW versions). The database is used as primary data system and the file system is
a backup. The export of data is file based. Database is used in AethNET data transfer system,
which allows for synchronization of instrument data with the central database.

11.2.1 Exporting the Data

Insert a USB memory stick in either of the front USB ports: do not use the USB port on the rear
panel.
Go to the "Data / Export" screen and press "Export to USB".
The data will be stored in a text file with a header. The file name is:
AE33_Sss- nnnnn_yyyymmdd.dat
