Support CU320

Below it is shown how the CU320 is supported in package configuring and package execution
by Create MyConfig.
Support of the CU320 by Create MyConfig
The following processes are supported:
● Administration of the drive data (DOs) via the archive (copy, delete).
● Manipulation and access to SINAMICS parameters as for CU Integrated (Bus 3) via the
archive (script, manipulation task).
● System configuration for the drives as for CU Integrated.
● Comparison, user-specified and extended user-specified topology as for CU Integrated
● Configuration of the axis-drive assignment as for CU Integrated, execution during runtime.
● Exclusion of slaves above a selectable address of device configuration.
● External CUs can be excluded from the SINAMICS device configuration and the access to
data by the HMI/CMC (archiving, manipulation and display), see the function Prepare
(Page 272) and SINUMERIK DOConCD.
Note
Take the following requirements into account:
● The CU system software should match the NCU system software (same SW version).
● Correctly configured PLC SDBs (hardware configuration) are required.
The following processes are not supported by Create MyConfig:
● FW update and installation of the CU software
● Adding, changing, deleting of files on the CF card
● Access to the file system of the CU
