Setting contents of the user bits is automatically recorded, and it is maintained even if the power is set to <
Frame rate information
The relationship between frame rate, image pull-down, time code, and user bits is as follows.

f The [CAMERA SETTINGS] menu → [FPS] → [VFR SW]

Setting the time code

Select the [SYSTEM SETTINGS] menu → [SYSTEM MODE] → [FREQUENCY] → [59.94i]/[59.94p]/[29.97p].

Select the [REC SETTINGS] menu → [TC] → [DF/NDF] → [DF]/[NDF].
[DF]: Advances the time code in the drop frame mode.
[NDF]: Advances the time code in the non-drop frame mode.

Select the [REC SETTINGS] menu → [TC] → [SET TC].
The [SET TC] screen is displayed.

Set the time code.

Confirm the setting value of the time code.
f The setting value is confirmed when last two digits are set.
r Setting range of time code
The range of time code that can be set differs depending on [FREQUENCY].

t The set change is not reflected if the time code setting screen is closed without confirming the setting value.
t Set the number of frames with the value that is multiple of four when [FREQUENCY] is set to 23.98p or 24.00p. The recorded time code will shift with
any other value.
Time code function during battery replacement
The operation of the time code generator will continue by the backup mechanism functioning even when replacing the battery.
The time code of the free run may shift when any item in the [SYSTEM SETTINGS] menu → [SYSTEM MODE] is changed. Set the power to <l> (ON)
again, confirm the time code, and set it again if necessary.
